Simon Peter is having a really neat year with studying the Eastern Hemisphere's countries and cultures.
Today, he came to me and asked me if I knew what Baghdad meant.
"No." I replied.
"It means God's gift." said Simon Peter.
I had no idea. Persians, Greeks and Romans have fought over this land. It is thought that it is the possible location of the Garden of Eden, between the Tigris and Euphratis rivers. It would only make sense that the Iraqis called their Capital city "God's gift".

That is fantastic.
May your year continue to be filled with moments like these [smile].
