We're at a restaurant last night and after the meal, my 8 yo leans over to me and whispers in my ear, "Mom, I've got to go water the plants." We giggled our way to the little boy's room. Upon leaving that room, he says to me, "Next time, I'm going to be a fireman."

I have no idea where this comic genius is coming from, but he keeps me in stitches all day long. I have never been quick-witted or funny like this. But I seem to recall now that I have heard from his father something about dropping the kiddies off at the pool.
