I love the part where he asks Mary if she knew that when she kissed the face of her baby, that she was kissing the face of God. I think of that line everytime I get to kiss a baby's cheeks. They are gifts sent straight from heaven. I am awed to think that she got to kiss Jesus' cheeks.



The singer is Mark Lowry. Many know him as a Christian comedian but as you can see, he is a worthy of the title of singer & songwriter, too. Recently, Clay Aiken has resung this song. You can find his version on YouTube as well.
